Re: False Capacity/IO Alerts?

Hey jddias,

Thanks for the response. I grabbed screenshots of 2a, 3a, and 3c. I skipped 3b since it's set to Physical not Usable at the moment so it (should be) irrelevant. I've done a lot of tweaking and testing to attempt to remove these alerts even to the point of literally turning off all alerts (as a test) on the policy under section 5 and they still exist and are still active. Currently though it's set back close to defaults on the policy.

Also possibly worth noting is that I've made changes that have caused the alerts to disappear and then reverted the changes. Obviously the alerts came back, but with the same date they originally had, not the current date. On top of that, when I re-implemented the same changes that removed the alerts before, they did not disappear as they previously did (modifying from Usable to Physical on 3a was one change that caused them to disappear before, but as you can see now they exist even with Physical set).

Thanks again for looking over this for me!

Edit: I'd also like to note that the licensing limit reached is temporary. They have a VMware TAM here and are working with them to get the ELA amended to adjust for the growth. I'm adding this note in because it occurred to me this could be affecting my results (I'm really not sure with vCOPS).
