Have you tried manually editing the memsize option to a larger size in the .vmx configuration file? This needs to be done with the VM shutdown, not suspended and it Tab in the VMware Workstation GUI closed (if VMware Workstation is open).
BTW... The workstation.log is not what was requested it's the vmware.log file (or one of its incremented versions like you attached)!
