Hi again derekcentrico,
Unless I'm mistaken, what you're seeing there is just a warning: It should allow you to create and power-on VMs with more than 8 GBytes of RAM, but the warning is there to tell you that the resulting virtual machine will not be portable to systems with a 32-bit host OS... You'd need to reduce the memory allocation before being able to use it on such a system.
What happens if you ignore the warning, choose more than 8 GBytes of RAM, and try to power on the VM? Does it fail?
Cheers,
