Somehow each new information you provide causes confusion 
Now the base (flat) file contain descriptor files, but they show the wrong sizes compared to the previous screen shot? Can you please explain this?
Since the file sizes do not match and at least the 170GB disk seems not to have the proper size, please provide the output of ls -lisa from the command line (you can use e.g. putty) to get the exact sizes in bytes.
