Below is my current understanding of what options are available for you ... there may be more, but others can provide those suggestions.
If you are inside the guest OS, it has no real awareness of vCloud or vApp ownership via VMware Tools. Pretty much all you would get is whatever VMware Tools offers and the OVF properties.
This means you would have to do some sort of call out from the Guest to some system, or stack automation on top of vCloud Director to deploy the VM and then do this sort of specific customization.
