- Yes, you can either deploy the Windows based vCenter Server or the Appliance. Basically you can check which downloads are available for the edition you own to see what you are entitled to use.
- If you are using the Windows based vSphere Client, take a look at VMware KB: Licensing ESXi 5.x and vCenter Server 5.x. With the vSphere Web Client select Administration -> Licenses in the navigation pane.
