Have you ever attended something like a Webex session? Online training is a similar experience in most cases, you will join a live session with others who are also on the same class, you'll hear the instructor, they will present slides to you and possibly use a "whiteboard" feature of the conference software.
You will connect remotely into a lab environment, but that's the same as if you took a classroom class.
Some training providers use other technologies which include video of the instructor.
You will get audio-only interaction with the other students, you'll never meet the instructor or other attendees in person so coffee and lunch breaks won't give you a chance to chat and network with others.
