Re: WS 10 July TP

Now tried July TP Linux

Host:  Ubuntu 13.10

Guest:  Windows 8.1 Enterprise Preview.

Physical Machine.

AMD FX 6100 Hex Core CPU.  24 GB RAM

1)  Compleely uninstalled May TP (had to do this because WS 10 will only install on Kernel 3.10.0-6-generic
using the ArchLinux patches.

2)  Installed WS 10 Tech preview using the patches.

3)  Installed guest Windows 8.1  Installed VMware Tools.  Installed Hyper-V role.

All the above completed without error.

This experimental machine has more hardware than the HP but still not enough to test 16 VCPU's or 3-D video acceleration.  Hopefully other people can report if they have better HW.
