You can certainly report beta/experimental build issues to support to get issues fixed prior to the GA build
What I meant was boot off the installed image/VM just to make sure that the ISO/Image truly is the OS you are trying to install. Had an issue once with a client unable to boot off a DVD to install ESX - and turned out to be a VC installer that was being used to boot
