Yes, the vCenter is a VM itself. It does reside on the second host that is non-responsive. The failed ESX is the source of the VM, but the VM that I migrated shows up on the other host. What is interesting, when I look at the storage of the migrated VM, it shows the original data store (001) as well as the new location (003).
When I try to access the second host, sometimes it does not respond and times out or I get:
“Call "PerformanceManager.QueryProviderSummary" for object "ha-perfmgr" on ESXi "X.X.X.X" failed.”
