I decided to upgrade my vSphere 4.1 to 5.1 version. So the first step is to install SSO. I precreated required database, created two required users, started installation, entered details and stuck on the install step where I must enter credentials for service account. I unchecked "use network service account" option, created another user into my AD. This user has only users rights (domain and on local server). So my questions are:
1. Where is this user used - only to run service under this user context after installation is done or somewhere else?
2. Do I need to grant some additional rights for this user on local server? Manual is very unclear with this. And I'm confused with this part "or enter the details for administrator user service account to run the service in". As English is not my native language I do not understand this requirement - does this user need to be administrator? And why? Remember, my other option is to user network service account which does not have administrator rights at all. Or is this user used only during installation?
