I did not think you could report bugs for an experimental build directly to VMware for resolution. Could be wrong about this.
The problem I'm reporting here is that the displayed operating system is not the same as the OS detected. So this is mainly a GUI problem although if not corrected could leave some users a bit baffled. It is not the same as the behavior of WS 9.0.2 where if openSUSE 64 bit is detected the default operating system and location is openSUSE 64 bit. I did not say that Windows 7 would be booted rather than openSUSE.
If there is a better title you can think of for the the thread subject bly all means change it.
If you can reproduce this behavior or somebody else can't than let me know and I'll try with other Linux OS and see if they default to the Windows 7name and location.
