As the title suggests no matter how many times I uncheck the box to disable it nothing happens and the vmware-hostd process still remains listening on port 443.
Is there a terminal command I can run to turn this service off?

EDIT:
Did some digging around and found /usr/lib/vmware/bin/configure-hostd.sh
Running 'sudo /usr/lib/vmware/bin/configure-hostd.sh remove' stopped the service and removed it from startup.
