Hi Gurus,
I am playing with vMA in my home lab setup... I am still a newbie to vMA and commands assocaiate with it.
I am still new to vMA and the commands
I have added vCenter Server using vifp addserver command
I can list the servers too with vifp listservers command
Then I have added the target of vcenter server
All servers are running on ESXi5, vCenter 5.0 and vMA 5.0
No DRS or cluster available under my Datacenter Object
I am trying to run the command vicfg-hostops command, and getting For the host localhost.localdomain: The operation is not allowed in the current state.
I have tried restarting management agents on the host but with no luck.
>vicfg-hostops --server 192.168.205.139 --operation reboot
Enter username: root
Enter password:
For the host localhost.localdomain : The operation is not allowed in the current state.
Appreciate if you could let me know what I am doing wrong here...
